This pleasant Arles bistro is named after the star drink of a cult French TV show from the 1990s, Les Deschiens. The chef's cuisine is inspired by the market, changes every day and is accompanied by excellent regional alcohols selected by Brigitte, the welcoming hostess. Les Rencontres de la Photographie d'Arles are an integral part of the cultural calendar of the southern French town of Arles. Luma Arles is an artistic and cultural complex initiated by Maja Hoffmann's Luma Foundation in Arles. The museum houses the works of the French painter Jacques Réattu (1760-1833), after whom it is named. The Musée de la Camargue is a regional museum located at the Mas du Pont-de-Rousty, about 10 km from Arles, on the departmental road 570 towards Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer. In 1973, the Fondation du Parc naturel régional de Camargue acquired the site of the Mas du Pont-de-Rousty to create a museum dedicated to the Camargue, a protected natural region in southern France. The museum traces the evolution of human activities in the Rhone delta. A 3.5 km long footpath has been laid out to show the natural facets of the Camargue, in addition to the crops, pastures and marshes. In 1979, the museum received the European Museum of the Year award for its concept.
The Musée départemental Arles antique, also known as the Musée bleu, is the archaeological museum of Arles, opened in 1995. It visualises the history of the occupation of Arles and its surroundings from prehistoric times to the end of the Roman era.

The Hôtel Montcalm, a beautiful 19th century mansion near the train station and not far from the Place de la Comédie, will become the new stronghold for contemporary art in Montpellier. Renamed the Hôtel des Collections, it will serve as the future flagship of MoCo (short for Montpellier contemporain) and interact with two existing venues in the city: the exhibition centre for young artists La Panacea and the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts.
